Welcome to the Whalley Range Cricket Club website. The Build up to the 2008 season is well underway, all of senior and junior members have been training hard since the new year hoping for a successful season in 2008.
Both the 1st and 2nd teams had some success in 2007 with the 1st team winning Division 1B and the 2nd Team winning the Division 2B Surridge Cup.
We are always on the look out for new players, in particular the 1st team are keen to enlist the services of a genuine wicket keeper. An overseas amateur in this role would be welcome. Work has started around the ground with the Natwest Cricket Force Weekend coming up on April 5th and 6th. We would welcome volunteers to help out around the ground over this weekend. So if you live nearby and would like to help out please come down to the ground over the weekend of 5th/6th April.
